Normally, to rent a car in Horizon rental car, you must be at least 21. Please note, there might be an additional charge if you're under 23.
Anyone renting or driving our vehicles must:
1. Have a valid driver’s license that will not expire during the term of the rental and…
2. While we do have Debit Card and Cash Qualification Procedures for local-area clientele only (see Cash Qualification section for details) the Renter must present a major CREDIT card at time of rental. However, final payment of the rental bill may be made by cash, Debit Card, or Credit Card. 3. The Renter must have full coverage Auto Insurance coverage on their own vehicle that will transfer to a rental vehicle; or…
4. If the Renter only has Auto Liability coverage on their own vehicle that will transfer to a rental vehicle, they will be required to purchase our Collision Damage Waiver to protect against physical damage to our vehicle, or have verifiable Physical Damage coverage provided through the renter’s major Credit Card.

Yes, you can use but that person needs to be as an additional driver and he/she has to be in the contract.
Yes, you can use as long as you have 2 utility up to date bills and most recent paycheck stuff.
For advance reservations, a $200 deposit is required to hold the reservation. By paying deposit, your reservation is become guaranteed of capability. Deposit is refundable if you rent a car and return the car otherwise your deposit is nonrefundable.
Horizon has a wide variety of vehicles which are late-model and low-mileage. Our cars range from Compact, Intermediate, Standard and Full Size as well as Premium cars. Minivans, medium and large SUVs, Pickup trucks, 12 and 15-passenger vans as well as seasonal specialty equipment such as Jeep products are also available.
We will certainly do all possible to put the renter into a preferred or requested vehicle, but Horizon, as do all other car rental companies, offer a wide variety of vehicles in a wide variety of classes and we guarantee that the renter will get a vehicle of equivalent size and features or better at the rate the renter was guaranteed.

Collision Coverage : Horizon Rental car requires that all renters have Collision coverage in order to rent any vehicle. Either you can bring me your collision insurance or you can buy limited collision, damage waiver from Horizon rental car.
State required liability insurance : Liability insurance provides you with $1 million for third-party liability protection for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as the result of an accident while operating the rental vehicle. This insurance policy is available for purchase at Horizon rental car.
The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle or liability that occurs during the rental period. Horizon therefore requires that the Renter have full coverage Auto Insurance coverage on their own vehicle that will transfer to a rental vehicle. However Horizon offers a Limited Collision Damage Waiver (LCDW) to those renters that carry only liability insurance on their personal vehicle. This Waiver carries a $1,000 deductible.
Horizon offers a Deductible Waiver that, if accepted, eliminates the renter’s responsibility for paying any portion of their own Auto Insurance Deductible in case of any damage to the Horizon Rental car vehicle.
We also offer Supplemental Liability Insurance, issued by an Insurance Company. If accepted, it provides up to $1,000,000.00 Liability Insurance coverage in case Renter or Authorized Driver causes Bodily Injury to others or Property Damage in an at-fault accident.
Horizon offers three Protection Packages:
Basic Protection Package (BPRO): If accepted, it provides both Deductible Waiver and Supplemental Liability Insurance as described above
Choice Protection Package (CPRO): If accepted, it provides Supplemental Liability Insurance and a $1,000.00 Deductible Collision Damage Waiver as described above.
Select Protection Package (SPRO): If accepted, it provides Supplemental Liability Insurance and a $0.00 (zero) Deductible Collision Damage Waiver as described above.
Yes, a security deposit of $150-$300 that is refundable upon return of the rental. (depending on insurance policy)

Yes, we offer a free shuttle to Atlanta Airport from our College Park rental location. Unfortunately, this service is not available at the Jonesboro location.

Please call the rental location immediately if involved in an accident. Also, be sure to obtain (take pictures of) driver’s license, insurance policy, a good phone number, and a current mailing address from all parties involved. Also, it is a good idea to take pictures of the scene of the accident and all vehicles involved.
We allow more states to travel but some minimum fee required.
Yes. Any Additional Driver must be present at the time of rental and meet the same requirements as the Renter. There may be an Additional Driver Fee. Please check with the renting location.
One-Way rentals are only permitted between the current Horizon locations of Jonesboro and College Park, Georgia. A one-way Drop Charge will apply.
Horizon doesn’t divulge your personal information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose except as necessary during the qualification process for renting one of our vehicles.

We do offer $20.00 per day unlimited miles package to the Travel area on the back of the agreement.
If you are traveling outside the traveling area $25 to $30 per day unlimated.charges will apply.
There is a $25.00 late fee for a first hour late on returns.
After 1 hour late full days charge will apply.
*All payment & Rental are due by 12:00 Noon.
**No Refunds: There are no refunds on unused days, extra fuel1left in-vehicle upon return, or early return of the rental vehicle.
Collision Insurance holds you reliable for up to $1000 of physical damage to the Rental Vehicle, if something happens or if the vehicle is stolen in addition to your deposit.
In the vehicle, there will be a $100 smoking fee charge, keep the vehicle clean.
If a car returns excessively dirty there will be a $100 clean up fee that will apply. -No Pets are allowed, $150 fine will apply.
Allowing unauthorized drivers to drive your vehicle, and /or driving outside the travel coverage will result in loss of your entire deposit.
S50.00 fee for traveling outside of the Travel area fee applies.
Under 25 age license fees of $35.00 will apply.
Out of state license fee of $35.00 may apply.
The deposit will be refunded at the time of Vehicle Return, If there no Accident or Any kind of damage to the Vehicle otherwise "the Deposit will be used toward the Insurance Deductible."
If Horizon Rental car sticker damage or remove there will be a $15 charge. -$250.00 reactivation fee will be charged if the vehicle had to be turned off form any reason.
This Vehicle is equipped with a transponder any kind of violation ticket will be deducted tom the deposit plus an administration fee of $50.00.
All renters must be 21 years or older with valid Driver License and must have full coverage insurance.
Renters under the age of 25 w pay a 200 or more Deposit.
Uber, Lift, and taxi services in the rental vehicle are prohibited.
The vehicle must be returned by the person who rents the Vehicle if somebody else returns there will be $15charge.
